Wes Walters Exhibition
A good friend of the Urchin family, Wes Walters currently has an exhibition of his life's work showing at the Moss Green Gallery - 310 Toorak Road, South Yarra. Be sure to get along and check it out (June 1-27) or... Buy a copy of his book 'Wes Walters - The Art of Realism and Abstraction' which we helped put together. Wes is an Australian art icon - famous for creating the Chiko Roll Chick image and also winning the Archibald Prize in 1979 for his portrait of Philip Adams. KASSIA MEADOR IS A FEATURED ARTIST IN THE GREEN ROOM FESTIVAL IN YOKOHAMA, JAPAN!
Roxy's Kassia Meador will be in Japan for the next two weeks, and along with going on a few surf adventures (which isn't out of the ordinary for her) she will be a featured artist next to the likes of Thomas Campbell and Donavon Frankenreiter, displaying art in the 2009 Green Room Festivalin Yokohama.
